There are so many things to do in Hampstead so you could visit for breakfast or brunch and keep exploring Hampstead for the rest of the day to make a full London day out of it!
Brunch Cafes in Hampstead

1. Ginger & White
Ginger & White is located down the very pretty lane Perrin’s Court Lane is the perfect weekend coffee and brunch spot with seating outside and inside.
They offer eggs, porridge, toasties and a few more options, nothing too fancy but just what you need. It does get busy in here on weekends though so be prepared to queue or wait for a little bit. They also have a wait at the window option for takeout drinks and smaller food items.
2. Silverberry Deli & Kitchen
Located just down the road from Hampstead Heath Overground Station, Silverberry is a great place to go for brunch, and a very popular brunch spot hear Hampstead Heath. They have a really big breakfast and brunch menu and it’s served all day!
It’s got the Instagram worthy brunch spot image down, and offers seating outside at the front and the back too making it high on my list of my favourite places to eat in Hampstead Heath and afterwards you can head for a walk, or even for a swim!
3. Boulangerie Bon Matin
Located on the pretty street of Flask Walk, you can’t miss Boulangerie Bon Matin in its blue store front and cakes viewable from the window. It’s a charming French bakery café and perfect for a slower weekend brunch — whether that’s a flaky pain au chocolat, a slice of toasted sourdough, or just great coffee before heading over to the Heath.
For a list of the best brunch cafés in Hampstead, Boulangerie Bon Matin deserves a mention for its quality, warmth and unmistakable Parisian feel, it’s also halal friendly!

WatchHouse Hampstead Heath is a stylish and well-loved, and fairly new spot for coffee in Hampstead. With locations in the UAE and US too, WatchHouse is known for its expertly roasted specialty coffee and carefully curated brunch menu, the café offers seasonal plates, quality pastries and light brunch options served in a calm, modern space and is popular with locals.
WatchHouse is a strong choice for anyone looking to enjoy a refined yet approachable Hampstead brunch café, and for some good photos!
5. Oak & Poppy
Oak & Poppy in Hampstead has quickly established itself as one of the best brunch spots in Hampstead, earning praise for its bright, stylish space beneath a retractable glass roof and a creative all-day menu that suits both morning and midday dining. If you’re looking for an aesthetic brunch in Hampstead, this is your place!
Brunch here strikes a balance between classic and inventive, with options like buttermilk hotcakes with berries and ricotta or a playful PB&J croissant alongside hearty savoury dishes — all served in a convivial, light-filled setting ideal for leisurely weekend meals after a stroll on Hampstead Heath.
6. Garden Breakfast Cafe
Garden Breakfast Cafe in South Hampstead is a cosy, welcoming café that’s become a favourite local choice for brunch lovers. Known for its all-day breakfast and brunch made with fresh, high-quality ingredients like free-range eggs, sourdough and sustainable salmon, the menu ranges from classic full breakfasts and eggs Benedict to fluffy pancakes and hearty brunch plates.

7. Rose & Rose Cafe
Rose & Rose do not offer a full brunch menu but I couldn’t leave it off the list of best brunch cafes in Hampstead because it’s a gem! People say they offer the ‘best Matcha in London’ along with quality coffee, tea infusions and smoothies in such a cute setting on Heath Street.
Head here for a good coffee, or tea, or matcha along with a light bite like one of their lovely pastries and you will have a good morning in Hampstead!
8. New York Cafe
New York Cafe is a casual and welcoming spot for brunch in Hampstead, known for its all-day breakfast menu and generous portions. Located on Heath Street, it serves classic brunch favourites like pancakes, eggs and full breakfasts alongside good coffee in a relaxed, no-frills setting, making it a reliable choice for a laid-back Hampstead brunch. This is the place you’d take your dad to who would appreciate the atmosphere and portions!
9. Have An Avo
Have An Avo in West Hampstead is as cool as its name! It’s a bright and inviting café that’s all about fresh, wholesome brunch options with a modern twist. As the name suggests, avocado takes centre stage, appearing on perfectly toasted sourdough with a variety of creative toppings, but the menu also includes vibrant smoothie bowls, and seasonal dishes.
With its relaxed, light-filled space and focus on quality ingredients, Have An Avo is a go-to spot for a healthy yet satisfying Hampstead brunch spot in West Hampstead.
10. The Wet Fish Cafe
The Wet Fish Cafe isn’t in Hampstead Village, it’s in West Hampstead on West End Lane so you’ll need to get the tube or overground there for for this West Hampstead Brunch but it’s a popular place for brunch and perhaps one of the places best for brunch in West Hampstead so I wanted to add it in.
It has a weekend brunch menu with all of the perfect brunch options and there’s usually a queue which pretty much means it’s a good London brunch spot that you won’t be disappointed with.
